A self-care lesson to help develop the organiation and mobility of your hip joints.

The unique structure of our hip joints allows us to have both stability and mobility-this is exactly what we need to stand, walk, and do the things we want to do. However, our largely sedentary lifestyle compromises the health of our hip joints, contributing to pain and discomfort, limited mobility, instability in walking, and balance problems. Feldenkrais lessons provide a safe and effective way to revive the dynamic, healthy use of our hip joints.

Up seems pretty obvious when you are standing at your full height, but up is also right in front of you when you bend down. In order to feel lighter when you bend, think that you are going up even when you are bending down. In fact, unless you are falling, you are holding yourself up even when you bend down.
